Wood Street Vet Hospital

Providing expert veterinary care across North London

Update on booking of appointments for holiday period 2021/2022

Dear clients,

Due to the ongoing situation with Covid-19 we are currently having to restrict bookings only to pets who are unwell or require non-elective surgical procedures.

We cannot take bookings for routine procedures such as health checks, vaccinations, dental scale & polishing or neutering at present, as we need to reserve our limited capacity for those pets who are in need of emergency attention.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused and hope to restore our normal service very soon in early 2022.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our clients a Merry & Safe Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Due to COVID 19 staff shortages, our overnight emergency service will be provided by Village Vet St Albans, Caytons for a short period of time.

In case of an emergency, please call Village Vet St Albans, Caytons, on 01727 852667 who will be able to assist you and your pet. Should you be advised to attend Village Vets with your pet, please follow this link to assist you with locating the hospital.

All our own hospital in-patients will continue to receive overnight care during this time as before.

We thank you for your patience and expect to be back to normal very shortly.

Wood Street Veterinary Hospital is one of the longest established practices in the South East, and one of only a handful of Approved Veterinary Hospitals in the London area. We have a highly dedicated and skilled team to look after all of your pets' needs. Staff members are on the premises 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to look after our patients. We provide an emergency service so that there is always a vet and nurse available

Established in 1900, Wood Street Veterinary Hospital has been providing exceptional animal and veterinary care for many years. Our status as a Small Animal Hospital reflects our commitment to animal care and as a centre of excellence. We are also a Registered Training Practice for Veterinary Nurses.

We have four branch surgeries, Oakwood Veterinary Surgery in Radlett, Holders Hill Veterinary Surgery in Mill Hill, Cockfosters Veterinary Surgery in Cockfosters, and Rosemary Avenue Vet Clinic in Enfield.

An animal ambulance is available to assist our clients with transport and can also deliver medication and food when required.

The close links the hospital has with the RSPCA has always been a source of great pride for us.  Helping  charities care for animals in need provides us with a real sense of achievement.
